Setting a course

Ready in a few hours.

No agents, no commission to be paid, no forms or registrations to chase. You give us your information, like you would with a crew agency, and we build your own personal web page.

  1. Step 1

    Pick your unique address

    Type your name and surname, and make sure the spelling is correct. We suggest a .blue address. If it is not available, we suggest a .red, a .green, a .pink or even a .black that suits your name. This address is then registered on the world wide web. Once that is done, you are officially available for the world to see.

  2. Step 2

    Send us your information

    Give us as much as you can. Most important are your CV/resume and your STCW certificates. Your certificates stay private: they are never on your public page and can be opened only through a 7-day link that you create. We also need a recent photo of yourself. Your CV and photo are public, and that is the idea: you need the exposure to be noticed.

  3. Step 3, behind the scenes

    We build your website with all the information you give us. Remember, the more information you provide, the better your website will be. Nothing ever stays the same, so you can add and remove information from your website as you wish, and we will help with that.

    Share it with the world

    Now that your website is built and visible, you can share it with your next captain, any and all recruitment companies, department heads and friends who can help with future employment. Show the QR code at an interview, send a link to anyone who is interested, or share your certificates with a link that expires after 7 days.

Your QR code

It will always be on your website. You can download it as many times as you wish and it never changes. Use it on a business card, put it on your CV/resume or on your phone lock screen.

Four changes a month

We are here to help you all the way and will never leave you to try to do it yourself. We will upload, change or replace your photo, text and certificates up to 4 times a month at no extra cost. Everything you send us within the same 24 hours counts as one change. More changes are $5.00 per change. We make the updates overnight, US Eastern Time, to keep your page secure.

An availability switch that sets itself

Slide between Available and Unavailable, or set the dates and the switch changes on its own. You never have to remember. It shows everywhere your page is shown.

Certificates stay private

They are never shown on your public page. Expiry dates are tracked so you know what needs renewing.

Seven-day certificate link

Send a captain or agency a link to the certificates you choose. It stops working after 7 days. Passport and visa details are never included.

Couples can link their pages

Two crew, two pages, one tap between them for captains hiring a pair.

We do not place crew, find jobs, charge placement fees or pass your details to employers. Your page is yours, and you decide what goes on it.

For every friend who signs up and pays, you earn one free month ($12) as account credit. It is released 30 days after their first payment, and their first monthly payment is free too. Ten paying friends gives you a year free.

Credit only, never cash, and only for introducing a customer. We never pay for jobs.

Questions from the bridge

Before you sign up.

Who owns my web address?

You do. It is registered in your name and you renew it each year at the registry price. After you leave MusterPage, renewal is your own responsibility.

What does "forever" mean?

Your address stays the same through every yacht, rank and country, so your page and your record keep building for your whole career. It stays yours for as long as your membership is active. If a payment fails you have 14 days, and after that we keep your files for 90 days in case you come back.

What if I am between jobs?

That is exactly when you need your page to be as active and alive as possible. It is your shop window while you look for the next berth. Keep your page online, keep adding journal posts and let captains and agencies find you at any time. If a monthly payment is missed, you have 14 days before the page goes offline.

How fast are changes made, and what counts as one change?

We make updates overnight, US Eastern Time, in one batch, to keep your page secure. Everything you send us within the same 24 hours counts as one change. Four certificates sent today are one change. Four certificates sent on four different days are four changes.

Are my certificates public?

No. Certificates are never on your public page. A captain or agency can open them only through the 7-day link you create.

Is my passport or visa shown anywhere?

No. Passport and visa details are never on your page and never in the 7-day certificate link.

What if a payment fails?

We email you, and send an SMS or WhatsApp message if you opted in. You then have 14 days. After that your page goes offline, and we keep your files for 90 days in case you come back.

Can I take my address with me?

Yes. Moving your address to another host costs $100.

Will you share my details with recruiters?

No. We do not sell, rent or hand over our member list. Your public page shows only what you choose to make public, and your certificates are never part of it.

Why is there a MusterPage link at the bottom of my page?

Every page carries a small "Made by MusterPage" link that leads to this home page. It helps other crew find us.
